Car seat tears

Small tears are forming on my passenger seats!! my '22 Tucson has jst under 15k miles, I've been careful getting in and out, no tools in my pockets or anything...well as far as I started being conscious anyway so I'm wondering if this is a material issue or just normal wear, can I get this handled under warranty?, my car is just a year and half

Seats tearing at 15kmiles? Not normal if you ask me, especially IF you've been careful. It could be a material defect and since you're still well within warranty, definitely take it to the dealer. They should cover it under the basic warranty if there's no sign of misuse.
