I want to know about installing a dash cam, I hear that it could drain the hybrid battery when the car isn't running, but a friend said the impact is minor. Do any other Tucson Blue owners have dash cams? How has it worked out for you?

Dash cams can draw some power when the car's off, but for most hybrids like the Tucson Blue, the drain is usually minimal and shouldnt harm the battery if the cam's quality is good. It'd be helpful to hear from other owners about their experience, have you noticed any battery issues or has it been smooth so far?

From experience, dash cams that are hardwired and have parking mode can actually deplete your 12V battery, but they won't affect your hybrid battery. To avoid any issues, it's a good idea to use a dash cam that has a low voltage cutoff or a voltage monitor. No problems as long as the installation is done correctly
