2024 and 2025 recalls

I'm thinking of buying either a 2024 or 2025 Tucson but I want to know first which exact model had recall issues. Any owner here who got their car recalled? I'm interested to know your experience, particularly the process and if it's running with no issues right now!

I had my 2024 Tucson recalled for a steering issue, the dealer handled it quick, no charge and I think it's been running smooth ever since, you can just check your VIN to see if you're affected

Both the 2024 and 2025 Tucson have had recalls already, like missing airbag labels and wiring issues that could cause rollaway. Experiences vary though, some had lots of issues and shop visits, others not so much. But if you really are buying, check for open recalls on the VIN first

I own a 2024 model and had to deal with a recall myself.
What @FreezO is true about both the 2024 and 2025 models having had a couple of recalls, but it's important to remember that a recall doesn't affect every single vehicle of that year.
My car was part of the recall for the electric oil pump, and I got a letter from Hyundai in the mail.
I called my local dealership, scheduled an appointment, and they took care of it for free.
The whole process was pretty painless and my car has been running perfectly ever since.
What's good is that they'll also provide a rental car if the repair takes a while!
The key is to use your VIN to check for any open recalls on the exact car you're looking at.
You can do this on the official Hyundai recall site or the NHTSA website.
That's the most reliable way to know for sure what you're getting into!
